Woyyyla!
Long time since last update. Things have not went as i planned from the time i got the rx7 back from paint.
First drift practice 2011 next weekend! I have had to much problems with different things, like fex WB o2!
I can not say that Innovate is living up to its reputation. Bought a Uego wb and it works flawless.
Lets take a look back in time.
This is how the car is going to look in 2011! Not good pictures but they will come.

Its low and wide. front clearance is 2″.
As mentioned in the homebuilt dyno page i made a V2. It is almost done! Finnished it up with some help from the other guys @ workshop and got it ready for some dyno time!
Tuned the Rx7 with the new E85 setup.
That is:
Dual Bosch 044
840cc injectors
AN8 feed
AN6 return
Tuned it around 10PSI.
Reason why i didnt go for 14? (1bar).. Norway got winter E85, that is E70. Have to wait until summer to get E85.

I`ve finally figured out what and where to start! Alot of parts has been drawn in scale 1:10 to make it fit on a piece of paper. The job now is to get the pieces together to form a aluminium honeycomb chassis!
The drawings will first be drawn on paper, then later into solidworks to make some decent work drawings.
More specs on suspension etc will be posted later this week.

Last Tuesday i arranged a meeting with Göran Hemipanter Malmberg to discuss the build process and look at some idès for the Murcielago. I landed at Arlanda airport 8 AM and spent 11 hours at Göran`s place. We started with the basics like rules, tires, engine, driveline and ended with a few suspension geometry and tube frame sketches. He has alot of experience from his experimental Pantera and the Speedlab Corvette. The information i got from the meeting helped me alot after i got “stuck” without knowing what to do.
This Sunday i went to Cheek Racing Cars in Tistedal, Norway. He showed me his monoqocue C2 race car, made out of aluminium honeycomb and CF/fiber glass body. I took some pictures that ive added below. Got a few hints and tricks on how to build a honeycomb chassis and i will without doubt go that route. His car got a wheelbase of 2.55m and weights only 750kg race ready!
To see more pictures follow the Murcielago pictures page on the page menu to the right.

The winter is here. Few hours with daylight, -10C, snow, ice and what not. Sure its fun as long as you got a RWD!
Anyway, i aint got time to fix the volvo so it still sits in the snow almost ready. Finnishing the RX7 has high priority since i want it out of the workshop so i can begin with the GT1 car. I arrange to have it widened up front and painted. I delivered it last weekend. At the same time i drove down to Larvik and picked up a new rear bumper. Everything went fine, except the last 100m. Someone, not mentioning names, forgot to tell me about the ice below the snow. Picture says it all!
Slighty bent trailer, crushed rear bumper and rear hatch. More stuff to do!
Im deep into the planning stages of the GT1 car. Ive also made progress on the suspension design. Next Tuesday im going to Stockholm to have a meeting with the guy who built the Speedlab Corvette. We are going to discuss how to move forward in different parts of the project.
The G96 Transmission has been lying to long with the LS1 adapter plate lying in a shelf above. I had to test fit it to a LS1 engine to see the length and size of the engine and tranny.
Some teaser drawings of the Lamborghini
More updates coming!!!

Hi `n Hello!
Finally done something on the RX7. The plan for this winter is to:
- Fix clutch issues and install bullet proof bellhousing
- Moving the fuelcell under the trunk
- Making the car look good!
- Maybe going for e85 and more boost!
First off! The look.
I`ve never liked the way it looked. Orange with a green viking isnt cool. Its actually not cool at all!!! Not wide.. Not low.. Not agressive..
Plan is wiiiide and low and new rims! Im going to buy 10 new 18″ wheels like you can see on the pictures below.
So, rear fenders are cut and widened in steel to reinforce the glass fiber over fenders. The front fenders will be widened in steel by the body guy.
Everything will be copied so i can duplicate in glass fiber. I got molds for rear fenders, front bumper, side skirts and scoop
The rears are done and it looks good! I was expecting 30mm wide fenders when i ordered them, but it isnt 30, its closer to 80mm!!
Im almost finnish with the fuelcell job too
Old mounting on picture above.
New “trunk” below
Some more grinding and paint and its done. Fuel filler cap will be in the middle of the rear lights. (like mustangs).
Short update on what i have done to the Rx7. Im reduced at the moment so i cant work 100%. The paint guy will get the car in two weeks. So the next week i have to shine the new frontbumper, rearbumper, sideskirts, make a new hood + scoop and probably some more. Ive also ordered a pair of S5 Jdm rear lights and a set of new sideview mirrors since i smashed one this year =)
More updates soon! Stay tuned!

Few updates these last months. Ive been working a lot lately so there has been little to non progress in the workshop. Well, thats not entirely true!
Since im quite good at buying to much stuff. That means especially ls1 engines! I had to make a test – bench for the engines im selling. The ide was that i could fire up the engine to show the buyer that everything works. I was at Ekeberg Grombil 2010 today with the rig on a trailer and i got a lot of feeback from coming customers! Atleast, i hope..
Here`s a vid of what im talking about: test-rig
Ive also bought alot of stuff for the car i will compete with in the GT-series GT1.
The Rx7 has been torn in pieces allready. Had some clutch and shift problems and some suspension issues that has to be sorted and i want a new look! More info soooon!
Stay tuned!

Finally home frome Egypt! +40C, beer, diving and chillin isnt something for me.. atleast not more than a week at a time!
Got to the workshop today with one thing in mind, to kickstart the dyno v2.0 project since i have some people who are interessted in renting it next weekend. Almost everything i use on the dyno is recycled stuff that i have lying around. Easy and inexpensive! As you can see on the pictures down below there are quite alot of rust on the steel. But almost all the steel tubes/bars/plates are 6-8mm thick so its OVERKILL-KILL!
Todays work ended up with almost all the framing done around and above the dyno. I need to make atleast 4 points to attach the straps to hold the car down. I will use sandwich aluminum plates (for barn roof) in front of the dyno and the rest of the boxing will be wood and stainless steel. Im not sure if i will keep the wheels visible from the side or not (cool to see the wheels tuurning!)
Some pictures!! More updates will follow this week as the deadline is Saturday 08:00!

Finally!
After a few incidents last time we used the dyno i had to make some changes before it was usable again.
V2.0 includes:
- New foundation of concrete
- Balance the brake pressure on L/H and R/H side
- Better ramps for easy use
- Safety net/walls
- Better adjustment of brake pressure
- A read out so we get a curve to analyse
First of is the concrete block so it doesnt sink into the ground like it did when we had it lying on the snow. A good excuse for playing around with an excavator! Its built with 50cm of gravle and then 20cm of steel reinforced concrete. The entire axle will be bolted down to the block. It will also ease the job to mount steel frames around the axle. The frames wil be used as walls and for the new easy ramp solution.

ALot of work the last few days so there has`nt been any action at the shop. Some guys from Telemark came over with an interesting Camaro 84 LS2 swap. It has a 4l60e with shift issues and the engine isnt running like it should. It has actually a Stroked LS1 with 317 heads and 90/90 intake. Its possible that it runs in Limp mode. Time for some HPtuner magic!
The Rx7 got tested on a wet drift pracc at Gardermoen. It worked flawless! Except the dead batteri. The cooling is amazing with Flex-a-lites rad/fan pack. 60 degrees celsius at idle without fans so its actually a little cold.
We have three people working on the Skyline for some days now and its getting done quite fast! The LS1 is on its way. Have to order a ton of parts. Got a list i will upload soon.
Im updating the site with more info about my builds continously so keep on visiting!
